you kids these days with your rapidly growing concern for the state of the world and your knowledge of important issues at increasingly younger ages despite having been told your opinions don’t matter by the adults who put you in these situations
i truly am not interested in any feminist analysis that celebrates the empowerment of individual women at the cost of ignoring the simultaneous plight of entire groups of women (which at times occurs precisely because of the success of individual women). i want women to feel empowered but empowerment only goes so far.
